Peaceful rally against the militant institutions in Pakistan
A peaceful rally was arranged at Lasani Secretariat on 18th July 2007 by Tanzeem Mashaikh Uzzam Pakistan and Lasani welfare foundation under the supervision and led by His holiness Sufi Masood Ahmad Siddiqui Lasani Sarkar
Objectives of the rally were to demand from President Musharraf to ban the militant’s camps and miscreants and search all the religious institutions without any discrimination to clean up weapons from such institutions. Suicide bombers and militantcamps have become great threat to the security and survival of Pakistan. Militant camps will not be tolerated to produce so called Jihad situation in Pakistan as Iraq and Afghanistan. Government must deal with them with iron hands. Politics of extremism and militancy is not useful for Pakistan at all.
His holiness Sufi Masood Ahmad Siddiqui Lasani Sarkar said in his address that we will not tolerate militant camps creating so called Jihad situation in Pakistan like Afghanistan and Iraq, peaceful Madaris (religious institutions) should get up against militant camps we need to spread the message of brotherhood, love, peace, tolerance and human welfare from these Madaris (religious institutions) to the whole world but these militants have become a major threat to Pakistan and they must be crushed stopped now, we demand from President Musharraf to take serious action against militant camps Madaris. Suicide bombers and killers of humanity have no relationship with Islam and Islam does not allow such activities. The only way to highlight the correct image of Islam to the whole world is by blocking the way of these miscreants and terrorists.
